While designing an inclusive playground is a lofty goal, we continue to see instances in new construction where the standards are overlooked or misinterpreted. This session will include an overview of the accessibility standards for public playgrounds, common barriers in new construction, the eternal quest for accessible play surface systems; along with planning and maintenance strategies.
