Accessibility Considerations for Recreation Facilities and Outdoor Developed Areas

Join the Hoosier Health and Wellness Alliance for an in person full day learning experience at Osprey Pointe Pavilion where participants will be educated in and learn to identify accessibility standards for recreation facilities and outdoor developed areas.
This full day training will include topic discussions and field exercises around:
Accessibility Considerations for Recreation Facilities and Outdoor Developed Areas.
Applying the Accessibility Standards to Identify Barriers at Existing Facilities and Parks.
Evaluating Our Park Spaces for Inclusion of People with Disabilities: this will be a small group field exercise that will evaluate the site amenities of the park, identify barriers for people with disabilities, and explore opportunities for accessibility improvements that facilitate inclusion.
